We welcome all bowlers 18+ regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Never bowled before? No problem! All skill levels are encouraged to participate, play, and volunteer.
We're so much more than just a bowling league. Parties, volunteering, workshops? We've got it!
Our Fall 2026 season will run from September 13th, 2026 to December 20, 2026 (15 weeks).
We bowl on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. Practice begins at 5:50 pm.
The cost is $20 per week, which includes shoe rentals.
Originally founded in 1990, GALA Bowling League is a Rhode Island nonprofit dedicated to fostering inclusive community through sport. Our vision is to create a safe and inclusive environment where people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, can participate in a competitive and friendly team sport, develop a social support system, and build lifelong friendships.
