Season Details
Our Fall 2024 season will begin on September 8th, 2024. Each season runs for 15 weeks.
Time and Place
During our regular seasons (September - April), we bowl on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm ET, at East Providence Lanes in Rumford, RI.
Cost
The cost is $20 per week, which includes shoe rentals.
Absences
If you are unable to attend a bowling game, you may pre-bowl. Substitute bowlers and pacers are also an option.

August 25 - Organizational Meeting & 2nd Annual GBL Summer BBQ
September 8 - Week 1 (Regular Bowling Night)
September 15 - Week 2 (Regular Bowling Night) – Optional/drop-in Directors Meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL
September 22 - Week 3 (Themed Bowling Night: "Hawaiian Night") - Captains (Board of Directors) meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL (before regular bowling)
September 29 - Week 4 (Regular Bowling Night) – Optional/drop-in Directors Meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL
October 6 - Week 5 (Regular Bowling Night & Bowling 101) – Bowling 101 – Educate yourself on everything bowling at 5:00 PM at EPL (before regular bowling)
October 13 - Week 6 (Regular Bowling Night) – Optional/drop-in Directors Meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL
October 20 - Week 7 (Regular Bowling Night)
October 27 - Week 8 (Themed Bowling Night: "Halloween Havoc") – Optional/drop-in Directors Meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL)
November 3 - Week 9 (Regular Bowling Night & Charity Fundraiser) - Strike out Hunger: GBL Food Drive
November 10 - Week 10 (Regular Bowling Night) – Optional/drop-in Directors Meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL
November 17 - Week 11 (Themed Bowling Night: "Battle of the Decades")
November 24 - Week 12 (Regular Bowling Night) – Optional/drop-in Directors Meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL
December 1 - Week 13 (Regular Bowling Night & Charity Fundraiser) - Pins & Presents: GBL Toy Drive
December 8 - Week 14 (Regular Bowling Night) – Optional/drop-in Directors Meeting at 4:30 PM at EPL
December 15 - Week 15 (Playoffs & Themed Bowling Night: "Ugly Sweater Party")
January 5 - Snow Ball (Awards Banquet) - 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Providence GPub, 61 Orange Street, Providence, RI 02903. Then we transition into the Winter 2025 Meet the GALA Bowling League Party from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. for new members to join us to socialize, play games, and most importantly, have fun!
